Looking ahead, Xander Hydrogen will prioritize independent innovation, leveraging its core modular electrolyzer technology to advance the commercialization of ammonia, SAF, and other hydrogen-based energy projects.

I. Definition and Standards of Hydrogen-Based Energy

Hydrogen-based energy refers to secondary energy generated through processes where hydrogen acts as the primary energy carrier. It typically starts with green hydrogen produced via renewable-powered electrolysis, which is then used as a key feedstock to synthesize other green energy forms. Green methanol, green ammonia, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) currently represent the main types of hydrogen-based energy.

Current certification standards: Green methanol standards require Full lifecycle carbon emissions28.2 g/MJ; Green ammonia standards require Full lifecycle GHG emission intensity0.3 kg/kg ammonia; SAF standards require Full lifecycle carbon emissions reduction of 55% - 92% compared to conventional jet fuel.

II. Hydrogen-Based Energy - Green Methanol

As of late 2024, global planned green methanol production capacity exceeds 26 million tons/year. Overseas projects (102 planned) account for 13.27 million tons/year, while China dominates with >60% of global capacity under construction/planning. China is accelerating the establishment of its own green methanol sustainability certification system to align with international mechanisms like CORSIA and capture the global marine fuel market.

III. Hydrogen-Based Energy - Green Ammonia

China's green ammonia industry is experiencing explosive growth. By 2025, planned domestic capacity will surpass 20 million tons/year with total investments exceeding ¥500 billion. Inner Mongolia, Jilin, and Xinjiang collectively host 70% of national capacity, leveraging abundant renewable resources to build green ammonia superclusters.

IV. Hydrogen-Based Energy - Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Global operational SAF capacity exceeded 2 million tons by 2024. IATA forecasts demand will reach 6 million tons (2025) and 20 million tons (2030), rising to 358 million tons by 2050 - when SAF is projected to deliver >65% of aviation's emission reductions. Following successful trial production by companies like Jiaao Enprotech (603822.SH) and Pengyao E. P. , China's SAF capacity has expanded to 1.05 million tons.

V. Xander Hydrogen in Action: Breakthroughs in Green Methanol Technology

Xander Hydrogen specializes in hydrogen technologies, including electrolyzers, fuel cell MEAs, hydrogen storage/power systems, and Power-to-X solutions. In 2024, Xander Hydrogen successfully commissioned a 10 tons/year carbon dioxide hydrogenation to green methanol project. This project integrates four synergistic modules: CO2 Capture and Pretreatment System, Renewable Energy-based Hydrogen Production System,High-Efficiency Catalytic Reaction System and Product Separation and Purification System.

Using captured CO2 and green H2 as feedstocks, this system produces high-purity methanol through efficient catalysis, breaking through traditional process bottlenecks to provide a systematic solution for low-carbon chemical industry transformation.

Key Advantages:

High-Efficiency Catalysis: Highly active/selective catalysts enable high single-pass conversion of CO2 /H2  under mild conditions.

Smart Synergy Control: "Electricity-Hydrogen-Methanol" synergistic regulation and energy balancing technology ensures stable operation, optimizes feed ratios/reaction pathways, minimizes byproducts, and guarantees high product purity.

Modular Design: Standardized modular architecture supports flexible scaling, rapid deployment, and customization.
